Our story

How we got here

April 2024
Squidgy begins as AI teammates for small and medium businesses that lack the resources to do everything themselves. We built the first agents ourselves to prove it could work.
The shift
Once ACE, our agent builder, existed, we moved to a bigger idea. Instead of building every agent ourselves, let experts build their own.
Today
ACE lets you build an agent from what you know. We help you take it to market and list it on the Squidgy marketplace. We are in soft launch, so the product works, but some things are not finished and we will say so.
Still live
Ready-made AI mates for small businesses, such as Sophia for social media, Nula for newsletters and Blake for blogs.

Who is behind Squidgy

Seth Ward, Founder and CEO

Seth founded Squidgy in April 2024 to give small businesses AI teammates that take the admin off their plate. When ACE was built, the focus moved to a bigger idea: letting the people who know a problem build the AI that solves it.

Squidgy is built by 4142 Ltd, an AI startup foundry based in the UK, with a team spread across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia.
